The Accurate Wordsmith is now offering a service to help families record their stories and lives, to be transcribed into a one-of-a-kind keepsake book called “Remember When…” They provide anyone with an opportunity to easily audio record her or his life with a provided digital recorder—they’ll do the rest. World events are noted in the side bar to give future generations a historical frame of reference.

“My dad passed away in 1989 at 82. I was 36 and thought I knew every detail of his life. His immigration, the relatives who helped (or didn’t), hard times and good times. But when my siblings gather to reminisce, there are holes in the story. Or worse, we each know the stories differently,” explains Eve Hady. “If only Dad had written it down. He said he would. He didn’t. Now those memories are lost to us.”
