Energy Work for Animals
Many integrative medicine modalities are beneficial for our pets. Perhaps you’ve heard of Reiki, or even experienced it. Anyone that desires to learn Reiki can use the healing energy for themselves and their animals. Linda Johns and Judy Ferrig, local energy workers and animal communicators, joined together several years ago to offer an online animal communication certification program. A new group is now forming. The Animal Reiki Level I course will be offered from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 25, and will include hands-on work with live animals. You will learn about hand positions, polarity fuses and ting points that will enable you to facilitate animal healing.
Their online communication program offers training at four levels of learning, with Reiki training incorporated with each level. In addition, these in-depth classes teach many different healing techniques, such as the chakra system, meridians, acupressure points, flower essences and color therapy, plus much more to support an animal’s well-being.
Reiki has an infinite number of everyday uses that can improve the quality of life. Reiki will help you to relax, sleep better and feel fewer of life’s aches and pains. Reiki helps the body return to its natural state of balance and is better able to heal on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. Your use of Reiki on animals will ease the physical discomfort of an injury, illness or pains. For mental/ emotional issues with pets, Reiki will work to restore balance, calming emotional fears, phobias, anxiety and aggressions. Just one class enables people to make a real difference in their lives and those of the people and animals around them.
