A new documentary that presents a powerful argument for why the global water crisis will be the central issue facing our world this century, Last Call At The Oasis, will be shown at 7 p.m., May 10, at The Loft Cinema. A Q&A session with Oscar-winning filmmaker Jessica Yu will be held after the screening.

Last Call At The Oasis features activist Erin Brockovich, who talks at length about the real-life Hinkley, California, pollution case that was adapted into the popular film that bears her name, and other experts including Peter Gleick, Jay Famiglietti and Robert Glennon, University of Arizona professor of law and public policy, who authored Unquenchable: America’s Water Crisis and What To Do About It.
