Natural Awakenings Tucson

Programmed by the Pleasure Trap

Thinking that, “It’s not our fault,” might make us feel better, but knowing that it’s not our fault doesn’t help us reach our health goals. Beginning January 6, DeeAnn Saber, ND, and Arlene H. Siegel, MA, are offering a month-long workshop, Building the Foundations of Health, with the Pleasure Trap and motivational triad as pivotal components of the program.

Building the Foundations of Health will help people reach their goals with an understanding of the dynamics of the Pleasure Trap, so that they operate on a conscious level, instead of automatic pilot. The Pleasure Trap, triggered by the motivational triad of pleasure, pain-avoidance and/or energy conservation, is a part of our genetics, yet we have the power to turn it around once we understand how it works.

By learning about and following healthy eating practices, participants will create a healthy digestive system that will give them natural energy they haven’t felt in years. Skin will begin to glow, as well as Spirit, as participants focus on the physical, mental and spiritual foundations of health. All eating preferences welcome.
