Open Pathways, Judy Ferrig, MS : Energy Healing for People and Animals
Judy Ferrig
Ferrig’s background includes decades of corporate work, with a master’s degree in applied behavioral science. She studied with Angeles Arrien, a cultural anthropologist, who awakened her interest in indigenous cultures, which resulted in moving to Tucson and learning more about native wisdom.
She has studied energy healing methods including dowsing, alien influences (in Sedona), crystals, oils and flower essences, color, meditation, journeying, past-life regression, belief systems, Akashic records, cording, chakras, auras and sound, among others. Her horse led her into animal communication and Reiki healing and a rich and powerful journey.
There are a growing number of medical studies that show statistically significant results from Reiki in healing. The energy frequency of Reiki practitioners falls in the same range as that recently approved by the FDA in medical treatment for use in healing tissue, ligament and bone. With animals, Reiki directed to acupressure points helps with behavior problems including fear, aggression and anxiety. It is rewarding to her to see the medical and veterinary communities open to the use of Reiki as an integrative medicine practice.
