Dr. Carol Henricks
Dr. Carol Henricks is a fellowship trained neurologist with specialty training in EEG, epilepsy, sleep disorders and memory disorders, who approaches patient care with a focus on health and recovery through nutrition, hyperbaric medicine and electromagnetic therapy.
Her focus is on complex treatment planning for patients with brain injury, spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative conditions. Working with a network of other specialists, the best recovery program for each patient is charted.
Henricks graduated from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine, in Philadelphia, and holds fellowships at the University of Arizona and the University of Michigan. She is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and eligible for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
The NorthStar Hyperbaric facility was designated as a treatment center for the NBIRR study treating veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury in 2009.
Some of her research projects include clinical drug trials of novel anticonvulsants at the University of Michigan; neurophysiology research at Hahnemann University; memory research at Yale University; and memory research at University of Pittsburgh Learning Research and Development Center.
