Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery/Bistro is now serving dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and reservations are recommended. The Bistro’s kitchen is completely gluten-free and certified by the Celiac Sprue Association.

In a move that has been eagerly anticipated by the allergen-sensitive community, the menu features many items which those following a gluten-free diet have been forced to avoid at traditional restaurants, including crab cakes, flatbread appetizers and fresh pasta dishes. Co-owner Susan Fulton says, “Our other specialties include fresh salads, wild-caught fish and house-made lavender ice cream for a sweet ending to the meal.”
