Three years after opening their doors, the Gourmet Girls co-owners Susan Fulton and Mary Steiger are expanding their retail location to double the size of their current bakery/bistro. In addition to a larger bakery, the expansion features more seating in the dining area, with space for meetings and private parties. Many new items are being added to the retail storefront and the wholesale line that supplies stores and restaurants. Watch for prepared take-out meals, packaged mixes and more. 

By mid-November, the work will be completed and a full assortment of holiday items will be available, including Thanksgiving pies, stuffing and gravy. The bistro will continue serving dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, with plans for increased hours, and Tucson’s only gluten-free happy hour.

The bakery/bistro is southern Arizona’s only certified gluten-free location where guests can relax in a warm, safe environment with no fear of cross-contamination. The girls have created a unique venue where guests are encouraged to share their stories, network with each other, educate themselves and form new friendships, while enjoying delicious meals and baked goods.
