Unity Spiritual Center of Peace is offering spiritual education classes, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesdays, from February 10 through March 9. The classes are a new look at traditional spirituality, focusing on the metaphysical meaning of the Lent season. Topics like love, patience, forgiveness and many others will be covered, and participants will learn that they have the power to transform their lives.

“This class will look at one of those seemingly traditional practices, the season of Lent, in a completely different way. It has nothing to do with deprivation, and everything to do with moving into a higher realization of life,” says Rev. Nita Strauss, minister of Unity Spiritual Center of Peace. “When we learn to train our minds and release ourselves from the various negative influences in our lives, we begin to live happier and more meaningful lives.”
