With 30 years of experience as an astrologer, tarot card reader and teacher and a strong spiritual background with grounded practical approach, Shivani Baker is now offering astrology and tarot readings and classes in Tucson. Baker says that anyone can learn to use these beneficial tools, and offers fun classes on both, including a six-class series on learning to read the tarot, held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning April 8. She will also present an astrology class for beginning and intermediate students, beginning on May 2, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Baker has a background in psychology, and is helpful to those in transition and crisis—people facing terminal illness, divorce, changing careers, loss of a child and other issues. She uses the astrology chart and tarot to guide clients during any period of life.

The astrology chart discusses many different aspects of who a person is, including health, relationships, creativity and lessons to be worked on, and it gives insight to personal challenges as well as how to enhance one’s gifts. The tarot is a tool that uses symbols or archetypes to tap into the subconscious, which holds all the answers within us. The tarot can give clarity to a specific issue going on currently.
