Free Seminar on Women’s Hormone Imbalance
Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy is holding a free seminar, in combination with Dr. Arianna Sholes-Douglas, to discuss hormone imbalance in women, and how balancing hormone levels can improve a woman’s qualify of life, from 6 to 8 p.m., September 15. This is an opportunity for women to gain valuable information and answers to common questions to ensure a smooth transition into menopause.
Hormone levels start to change drastically as a woman nears and enters menopause and her hormones may become unbalanced. When hormones such as estrogen, progesterone and testosterone are out of balance, women can experience severe symptoms such as hot flashes, diminished sex drive, vaginal dryness, painful sexual intercourse, insomnia and mood changes. These symptoms often interfere with a woman’s ability to enjoy the life she previously led and significantly decrease her quality of life.
Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy works with women to alleviate hormone imbalance symptoms by restoring balance to their hormones. Women can be referred by their doctor or contact Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy directly to work one-on-one with a pharmacist to determine the best solution for her specific needs.
