100+ Women Who Care Give to Sister Jose Women’s Center

An enjoyable, energetic and inspiring evening was had by all as the 100+ Women Who Care Tucson Chapter celebrated its three-year anniversary and having generously donated over $220k to our local nonprofit community. This October’s recipient was Sister Jose Women’s Center, which provides unaccompanied homeless women with a stable and safe environment to recuperate from the daily struggle of homelessness and extreme poverty.

The other two charities sharing their mission were El Groupo Youth Cycling, whose purpose is to empower youth through bicycling, and Kids’ Chance of Arizona, providing scholarships to the children of Arizona’s injured workers.

As membership continues to grow, the compassionate and charitable ladies of 100+ Women Who Care Tucson look forward to continuing to provide greater financial support to well deserving nonprofits in our community.

Their quarterly meetings for 2019 will be held January 17, April 11, July 18 and October 17.
