At Winterhaven Health Center, Dr. Nathan Conlee uses a multifaceted approach to treating any condition including: headaches, neck and back pain, dizziness/vertigo, asthma, allergies, digestive issues and more. After attending University of Arizona in Tucson for undergraduate, Conlee earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Iowa. He is board-certified in physiotherapy and acupuncture, a certified kinesiotape practitioner and certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Chiropractic Association.
By evaluating a patient’s neurology, biomechanics, meridian energy (through acupuncture), diet/nutrition, lab work and lifestyle, Conlee can diagnose, treat and change patients’ healthcare regimes. Conlee uses many different techniques, including but not limited to: Applied Kinesiology, which uses muscle testing as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool; Diversified, a general compilation of mechanical techniques ranging from general hands-on manipulation to very light touch pressure; Activator, the use of very light force for correction; Palmer Methods, which are earlier techniques historically taught at Palmer College that can achieve amazing results; and personalized techniques, devised by Conlee himself and learned at numerous post-graduate conferences. All techniques are based on sound neurological assessments and bio-mechanical principles.
Conlee has additional training in whiplash/spinal trauma, radiology, nutrition, sport injury treatment and prevention and homeopathy. Winterhaven Health Center uses many types of treatment modalities, including functional neurology, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, nutrition, low-level lasers, pulsed magnetic therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, diathermy, intersegmental traction and more.
