Holiday Events at Unity of Tucson
Unity of Tucson is excited to announce several special events in December, including a fun book launch event, Christmas services, a women’s retreat and burning bowl service. “As a positive, practical, spiritually based organization, we welcome all people, all the time. Book Launch Gala, December 10, 6:30 p.m. Four local authors, three brand new books, two inspiring journeys and one great event. Books featured: Legacy by Rick Chavez and Kryste Andrews; Thoughts are Things by Rev. Jonathan Zenz; and Shero’s Journey – A Spiritual Adventure by Rev. Aliza Bloom Robinson. Books will be available for purchase and signing, and there will be entertainment, music and light hors d’oeuvres. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Christmas Eve Service, December 24, 6 p.m. The family-friendly, inspirational experience of Birthing the Christ includes a fabulous music program, a surprise and candle lighting ceremony.
Vision 2020 Women’s Retreat, December 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Using ceremony, ritual, movement and creative expression to close out 2019, we begin to vision our lives in 2020. Facilitated by Rev. Aliza Bloom Robinson. $97, includes delicious food, a special gift, materials and the program.
Burning Bowl Service, December 29, 10 a.m. This powerful experience allows us to release that which we do not want in our life in order to bring into the New Year a fresh start. Let 2020 begin with the positive thoughts to create the life we want.
