Josh Reilly, NMD, or Dr. Josh to most of his patients, is known for his down-to-earth, practical and eclectic approach to medicine. Reilly believes that the key to longevity and a healthy life is prioritizing a lifestyle where pain is minimized and happiness maximized. His goal is to assist his patients to live a fulfilling life.
   

Reilly treats patients at all phases of life, from pediatric to geriatric, with a focus on preventative and regenerative medicine. He has found that assisting a person to deal with pain—whether physical, emotional or mental—through empathy, leads to the best healing outcomes. Similarly, he has found that successful natural medicine requires assisting patients in preventing and treating the chronic conditions of aging like musculoskeletal injury, cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes with complete nutrition, positive social support and physical medicine or touch modalities.
   

Reilly’s practice brings together conventional and traditional healing arts and applies a variety of sports medicine modalities, regenerative injection therapies (acupuncture, prolotherapy, PRP and more), meditative breathing, hormone therapy, botanical medicine, nutrition counseling and nutrient IVs to help patients minimize pain and maximize happiness. He will prescribe pharmaceuticals, if warranted, and also recognizes the benefits of Medical Marijuana.
   

Reilly took a circuitous route to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor. Growing up in the northern reaches of the Pine Barrens in New Jersey, his path began with a love of biology and all things natural. This love of nature has taken him up and down the eastern seaboard, to Southwest New Mexico, to the alluvial plains of Arkansas, to the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest—and finally to Tucson. Along the way he has been a marine biologist, a research scientist designing novel companion animal products, an elected official, an entrepreneur, a consultant and now a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. He discovered naturopathic medicine by happy coincidence not long after the birth of his daughter, and was persuaded to pursue his medical degree by his midwife.
   

Reilly owns and operates Wild Wellness Integrative Medicine here in Tucson, as well as practicing medicine at Tucson Regenerative Medicine and Naturopathic Primary Care at Innovative Primary Care, in Gilbert. “Longevity medicine is not about avoiding death, but rather living a joyful life for as long as possible, and empowering others to do the same, while leaving a legacy that enriches us all,” says Reilly.
