Santa Rita Springs
In the heart of Tucson, Arizona, behind a turquoise gate, Santa Rita Springs is a private sanctuary for people to restore good health after a life-changing diagnosis, personal loss, physical injury, surgery or trauma. This peaceful oasis offers guests aquatic treatments from licensed massage therapists and classes or private sessions with experienced movement specialists, in the comfort and safety of an indoor, warm salt water pool.
The center creates opportunities for guests to enjoy some quiet, pain-free time floating nearly weightless, supported by salt water warmed to body temperature. Guests regain hope by appreciating their body, and by offering themselves relief from pain without harsh drugs.
In addition to peaceful floating sessions, Santa Rita Springs offers: Watsu Aquatic Massage with Dorothy Richmond, Kerry Martin, Diane Dearmore; Aquatic Cranial Sacral Therapy with Jeff Rogers; Aquacize with Rebecca Lennon; Ai Chi with Connie Seddon; and Swimsafe Childrens Lessons with Blake Friis.
Aquatic therapies offer astounding relief of pain, immobility and fear. Guests relax deeply in warm water as their cells recall the first nine months of life in the womb. Watsu Aquatic Massage includes some integrative massage, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Jyutsu and craniosacral therapy, all while floating in the warm embrace of 96-degree saltwater.
Location: 2301 N Santa Rita Ave, Tucson. Connect at 520-990-1857, [email protected] and SantaRitaSprings.com. See ad, page 42.
