Get ready for the holidays, dear readers, because they’re here! It feels like just last week I was soaking in those last lazy days of summer, but now that the winter holiday season has arrived, it’s time to embrace everything it has to offer.

We’ve got a wonderful November issue in store for you, packed with all the cozy, festive vibes. Not only do we get to focus on one of my favorite topics—grateful aging—but we also invite you to settle into these pages as a warm welcome to the holiday season.

In this month’s issue, you’ll find some inspiring ideas for Handcrafted Thanksgiving Decor (page 16), delightful tips on celebrating the season with soup in Blissful Bowls (page 26), and non-invasive pain relief for pets in Electromagnetic Therapy for Dogs (page 24). Plus, explore the Benefits of Compression Therapy (page 20), and read a heartwarming conversation on Making a Difference in the Fight Against Diabetes with Patricia Silverstein (page 22).

There’s so much happening in our community, and we’re thrilled to highlight it for you.  In our News Briefs section, check out upcoming Bio-Touch Healing training sessions with Eileen Webster, Yin Yoga classes at Waterfall Yoga, shopping clean at Nulscent Market, and the grand opening celebration at Valori Institute of Massage. And special kudos to Safi Cleaners for celebrating seven years as Tucson’s “Truly Non-Toxic Cleaners!”

Local experts have also contributed some truly insightful articles this month. Learn how to better tune into your emotions with the transformative power of breathwork in The Transformative Power of Neurodynamic Breathwork by Jonathan Schecter, founder of Blue Magic Alchemy (page 12). Embrace joy and live purposefully in Living Lusciously by Deb Beroset, founder of It’s Time For Moxie (page 18), and discover the art of Grateful Aging with Sheila Shea, local colon hydrotherapist (page 17).

Don’t miss our exclusive interview with the legendary Ricky Skaggs, who is bringing his band Kentucky Thunder to the Fox Tucson Theatre this December for an acoustic Christmas concert sure to elevate and entertain (page 14).

And of course, it’s time to open your calendar and start penciling in all the exciting happenings from our Calendar of Events.

There’s just so much goodness packed into this issue! So, grab a cup of your favorite comforting beverage, cozy up with a warm blanket in your favorite reading spot, and savor these pages. See what golden nuggets you’ll discover—I know I’ve found several takeaways I’m already incorporating into my life.

May the holiday season ahead fill your heart with gratitude, peace, and an abundance of love.
