Spring has officially arrived! And nothing welcomes the season quite like our annual Natural Awakenings Directory Guide. Our 2025 Health & Wellness edition is your trusted resource for local products and services designed to support your vibrant, healthy lifestyle.
As always, this magazine is powered by the passion and dedication of so many—especially our incredible advertisers, who work tirelessly to make the world a better place. We encourage you to keep this guide close all year long and turn to our Natural Awakenings family whenever you need a product or service to enhance your well-being.
One article that truly spoke to me this month is Making Time to Marvel by Marlaina Donato (page 13). If you’re anything like me, life’s busy seasons can pull you away from life’s simplest, most profound joys—like pausing to admire the beauty of the world around you. Lately, I’ve been moving at full speed, oftentimes forgetting to savor the wonders of nature that are always available to us. This article was the gentle nudge I needed to slow down and embrace the magic of spring. As Donato so beautifully reminds us, “May we never be too busy, too old or too jaded to gather handfuls of overlooked miracles.”
Our Artist Spotlight (page 14) by Suzie Agrillo introduces the exceptionally talented Cindy Mohr, whose bold, colorful artwork is a true feast for the senses. And if you’re passionate about sustainability, Waste Not, Want Not sheds light on the power of a circular economy. Claire Potter, founder of One Circular World, reminds us that while recycling is important, reducing and reusing are even more impactful. Her words truly resonated: “We have had the ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ mantra since the first Earth Day in 1970, yet our consumption-driven culture has focused mostly on the ‘recycle’ part. In circularity terms, the first two are far higher up the hierarchy of desirable actions.”
From the latest advances in clean energy to gut health breakthroughs and fresh ways to move your body, this Earth Day-inspired issue is packed with insights to inform, inspire and ignite positive change.
Wishing you a season filled with wonder, renewal and countless moments marveling at Mother Nature’s miracles.
