Tucson Earth Day Festival
The 18th annual Tucson Earth Day Festival and Parade will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 21. Celebrate Earth Day every day, but especially with this year’s theme, It’s In Your Hands Tucson, at Reid Park.
Last year, 4,500 people attended and more than 70 exhibitors shared information and engaged families in activities on many environmental programs and products. This year, farmers’ markets and an alternate fuel vehicle display are being added to the fun.
Come to the park, get information, enjoy fun activities, watch the model solar car and house competition and celebrate! Ride your bike to the festival: the first 300 to show their helmet at the zoo get free ice cream!
Parade entrants and exhibitors are being sought for the festival and parade. The deadline for entries is March 30. For more information, visit TucsonEarthDay.org.
