Adult Care Hunters, LLC, is a referral service locally owned and operated by Margaret Roberts, of Oro Valley, and Maryann Prassas, of Marana, which provides a comprehensive assessment of a senior citizen’s physical, medical, emotional and social needs to find a suitable place to live.

Factoring in their budget and other key issues helps narrow down possible options. Adult Care Hunters then accompanies the senior to look at the different options, ensuring that all of their questions have been answered and their needs will be met. For individuals over the age of 60 that are looking for independent or assisted living, the service is provided at no cost to the client.

The owners started the company together in 2007 with the goal of assisting senior citizens and their families that are beginning the process of moving from home into a retirement center. Both Roberts and Prassas are graduates of the University of Arizona and have collectively worked with seniors for more than 35 years.
