Tom and Nancy Alfonso, the owners of Alfonso Gourmet Olive Oils & Balsamics, grew up enjoying the traditional Mediterranean cooking that relies on extra virgin olive oil (EVOO). While looking for the quality olive oils and vinegars they desired, they found none in Tucson or Arizona and the idea to have a store dedicated to selling the highest quality extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegar was born.

Located in St. Philip’s Plaza, the Alfonsos offer a unique tasting experience of the freshest, ultra-premium, first cold-pressed, EVOO and flavored olive oils from around the world, plus the best traditional aged balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy.

Tom recently earned the rare title of olive oil sommelier and received a certificate of sensory aptitude from The National Organization of Olive Oil Tasters. Tom, Nancy and their well-trained staff are ready to help customers find the perfect flavor for their favorite recipes.
