Generating Sales with Don Zavis
Don Zavis
Don Zavis is an accomplished executive with a successful history of taking private and public organizations—including small, local Tucson businesses—to new levels of sales and profitability. Zavis has a knack for hiring the highest level of sales achievers, training them to their fullest potential and consistently coaching them to perform in the top 10 percent of their industries.
With his unique ability to create a “sales culture” across the entire scope of the organization, Zavis fosters an environment of mutual achievement and reward. His professional education includes over 5,000 hours of practical, actual training.
“If you ask 100 salespeople what they want most out of their sales efforts, the vast majority of them would say as many sales as possible,” says Zavis. “Although on the surface that seems like a good answer, it is unlikely to be very successful. Most salespeople don’t really know what they want. They don’t know their target prospect, nor do they know the best methods for them to run a prosperous business. They have forgotten that this is their business and they have the right to run it any way they want.”
Zavis suggests that all of his clients should write a list of the “20 Attributes of Your Perfect Client”. He explains that, “By identifying and writing down the details of your perfect clients, you can determine if the prospects that you are presently working with truly represent the type of business that you actually want, or if you should keep looking hard to find better people to work with.”
Some of Zavis’ most notable accomplishments include: being responsible for the sales development of over 2,000 sales professionals; having trained/coached over $500 million dollars’ worth of revenue production; and personally purchasing and profitably selling 23 businesses in differing industries. He is ranked in the top 5 percent of sales trainers and coaches nationwide.
