Tucson Represented at 9th Annual Women’s Symposium in China
Michael Tucker & Emily Eldredge in China
On May 12, Michael Tucker, co-founder of Life Velocity Academy, and Life Velocity Academy Luminary, Emily Eldredge, traveled to Zhanghou, China to join The World Academy for the Future of Women’s 9th Annual Women’s Symposium. The young ladies and men accepted to the World Academy program complete a rigorous two-year training program designed to assist women in acquiring skills and confidence to become local, national or global leaders.
“The transformation each young participant goes through is extraordinary,” says Tucker. “Many of these young women are shy and come from small farming villages where mom and dad are struggling to put them through school. This program gives them the tools to become confident, well-rounded and socially responsible leaders.”
Each year an Academy is held, bringing together women from across the globe in a powerful exchange of ideas and wisdom. Founded under the nonprofit Global Interactions Inc., by Jerrie Ueberle of Phoenix, the purpose of the Academy is to promote and accelerate the advancement of women worldwide. Their mission is to engage women in discovering their purpose and passion in life and to inspire, inform and instruct them in finding their path to success.
Life Velocity Academy’s mission is to develop human potential by increasing self-awareness, mutual responsibility and global concern in young leaders and professionals around the world.
