This month, Jeanne Anne Krizman, DMD, MPH, owner of Krizman Dental, is completing the program leading to her board certification by the American Board of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry, and the American Naturopathic Medicine Association, to become Tucson’s only Board Certified Biological Dentist and Naturopathic Medical Doctor. When evaluating and treating the mouth, she takes into account a person’s entire state of physical and emotional health.

Krizman Dental incorporates several additional integrative services into its practice, including: dental homeopathy (for pain, infection and radiation exposure), ozone therapy for periodontal disease, acupuncture treatments, head and neck prolozone treatments for infections of the jaw and chronic facial pain, head and neck lymphatic drainage therapies, homeopathic injections for saving the symptomatic tooth from a root canal, safe mercury amalgam filling removal with heavy metal detoxification programs, nutritional therapy, oil pulling, porcelain implants, digital X-rays, anesthetic that is non-adrenalin, preservative-free, dental materials testing and a clean air environment with the IQ Air filtration system.

Krizman has done advanced training in the treatment of babies with tongue tie and/or upper lip tie that may affect their ability to breastfeed and their overall oral health development. She performs frenectomies with state-of-the-art laser treatments, which cause minimal trauma to baby, and help promote a healthy breastfeeding relationship for nursing mothers and their infants.
