Tucson Meditation Group Welcomes All
The Tucson Meditation Group (TMG) is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship, a worldwide nonprofit religious organization with international headquarters in Los Angeles, California. The TMG members come together to help support one another’s spiritual practice through meditation techniques taught by Paramahansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi. TMG welcomes all to attend the group’s meditation services, extending a warm invitation of fellowship to join them in deepening meditations and spiritual practice.
Location: 1702 E. Prince, #130-140, Tucson. For more information, call 520-792-6544 or visit TucsonMeditationGroup.org.
“Meditating together increases the degree of self-realization of each member of the group by the law of invisible vibratory exchange of group magnetism,” according to Yogananda, known as “The Father of Yoga in the West”.
The TMG was founded in 1975 and offers meditations throughout the week, including: Sunday Services; commemorative meditations; 3-, 6- and 8-hour meditations throughout the year; and a “Lessons Study Group” to lesson students. TMG also has potlucks/social events and hosts the SRF Phoenix Temple monastics for a TMG retreat held at the beautiful Redemptorist Renewal Center, also known as Picture Rocks Retreat, every year.
TMG has a Bookroom open during the Sunday Services, featuring a complete selection of Self-Realization Fellowship books, DVDs, CDs, photographs and more. Please feel free to make purchases before or after the services.
