Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), obtained from a whole blood sample which has undergone centrifugation, is commonly injected into the scalp to biostimulate hair growth, or used as “slip” on the face during microneedling or after laser treatments. ART products are also combined with commercial fillers or laser treatments to boost healing and treatment results.
