meditation practice.
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we will be free from worries and discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness. Participants can expect to get a taste of the natural state of the mind and practice how to access this peace of mind at any time.
Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Lingpur, Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Arizona, will give simple step-by-step meditation instructions for developing this inner peace and clarity. She will give encouragement and support on how to train in this 30-day meditation challenge.
Participants will learn how to craft and support a vibrant meditation practice, enjoy the benefits of meditation far into the future and take this experience into life going forward. The course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators. The 30-Day Meditation Challenge starts September 20 and lasts through October 19.
